About Dr Keren MacLennan
Hello, I am Keren MacLennan. I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Reading. My primary research areas are sensory reactivity and anxiety and much of my research has focussed on the links between sensory experiences and mental health in autistic people. Having also worked therapeutically with autistic children and adults, I have experienced the positive impact that being exposed to nature has for the wellbeing of these individuals. My work has inspired me to understand more about soothing sensory experiences and how they related to mental wellbeing, and I am excited to be working on Project Soothe.
