This is a photo I took of my 8 year old cat, Eric. I have a deep emotional connection to him. Photos of him soothe me in times of self-doubt as they remind me that I have someone to live for and to take care of. Looking at pictures of him reminds me of all the time we’ve spent together. He is always there when I feel down. I feel reassured every time I see him because I know he will always stay with me. I love him like a son.
